Hyperion’s Board of Directors are tasked with the day to day administration of the Firm, as well as the secondary responsibilities of being ambassadors of goodwill to other companies, organizations and nations.
Positions for the Board are filled on an “at need” basis, and certain members of the Board must remain anonymous for security reasons. Pictured at right are those members most active and approachable in their roles as potential recruiters, along with a short biography.

Col. Jefferson Tobias Stonestreet (Ret.)
Our Founder. Currently acting in the position of Chief of Operations and Recruiting. After retiring with distinction as an infantry officer during the Civil War, Colonel Stonestreet, or J.T. as he is called by his intimates, embarked upon several safari and archeological expeditions in the American Northwest and later Africa. It was during this extended travel that the Colonel recognized the need for expedient and reliable transportation between continents. Investing most of his own small personal fortune, and attracting a few like-minded investors, the Colonel purchased a lone steamship. Hiring the finest engineers available, this ship was converted into a technological marvel of ocean transport, and Hyperion Transport was born.

Lady Lila Skeffington
After the death of her fifth husband, Lord Skeffington, Lady Lila found herself in possession of a vast financial empire and a desire to see the world. She travelelled extensively, both on the continent and some places most considered unfit for a lady of her social standing. While in Africa, she met the dashing Colonel Stonestreet, discovering that he shared her appreciation of the need for more comfortable travel. Lady Lila became the first, and remains the largest, investor and stock-holder in Hyperion Transport.
